i tried sanding and re-clearing with dupli-color rattle can clear....
didnt work. looked like *** again in a few months.... get good clearcoat put on by a body shop

Have you tried bringing it back with any products? The 3M fiberglass care kit seems to work very well on faded CF hoods: https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1

i've tried all the chemicals available on the store counters... ill try bringing it to a shop...it cost 100 bill to sand/buff/recoat.. is that a good price?

Nice double post. If you are going to pay 100 dollars just to re-finish your hood that you cant even bolt on, why not just buy a new one?

Use duct tape.
So.....
$100 hood
$100 re-finish
$0 to not be able to actually put it on the car.
Definitely seems worth the $100 in savings over buying a new one.

well the best thing you could do is buy bigger bolts.. and you get it to bolt right on... go to a nearby boat store.. and buy HEAVY DUTY fiber glass cleaner/WAX restorer.. and you brand new...
