how to raise the idle on a d16y7
ok i have a d16y7 just put i/h/e and i just got done fighting with the o2sensors and i finally beat them and the engine light went off. so now i dont have the engine light on. but...my car idles at around 400rpms to 600rpms. its like a tired person that is about to fall asleep and knows that he or she must stay awake so once it hits 400rpms it realizes it needs to wake up and just goes up to 500rpms. and after about a miniute back down to 400rpms. any help is apreciated. i think i just need to raise the idle up and i remember hering about that but i cant find it. thanks in advanced

open your hood, find the cable that's attached to the thorrtle body... and basically remove some slack

on the throttle boddie there is a screw right on top. take a flat head screwdriver and go counter clock wise till your rpm is up to your liking
