How to position rubber thing on b all of shifter? do i have to have it?
I put a friends short shifter on my teg to see how i liked it. Didnt like it very much. Im putting my stock one back on, and im not sure how that rubber peice that goes over the ball goes on? Anyone have any pics? Or is it ok to just not have it on there??

Do you mean the plastic fence looking piece or the rubber boot?
If its the fencey thing, then, I think you do need it or else it'll be hard to shift until you grind the shifter in half.
If it's the rubber boot, then you don't NEED it, but without it, you'll get dust and dirt all over your shifter and maybe into your cabin.
