how to paint tail lights
 

i want to paint the orange part red on my 96-98 civic coupe tail lights.....how exactly should i do this....what color, paint, and finishes????

I picked up candy apple translucent paint from the hobby shop to do mine. Just cleaned em up, taped of the reverse light, painted them in a box where dust couldn't get on em. Let them dry a day and they looked really shiney red...
Not sure how long they will last though, I used three coats and it came out pretty dark red.

we did like 6 coats with like 5 coats of clear to seal it. ive had it on since b4 winter, and no fading or anything, just don't power wash it for like 2 days http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/h-emblem1.gif
