how noticeable are leaks?
they told me it's an exhaust leak... but everytime i had an exhaust leak, i always knew because you could totally tell right...? so i brought my car to the dealership and they told me i had an air leak somewhere even though it sounds so quiet. even if you had a little hole you would know? i stuck my hands at all the meeting points and no air is felt on my hands...

depending where the hole is. If its on ur header its probably going to be loud as ****, but if its behind ur cat and resonator, shouldn't be so loud. Just ask them where its at.

Totally correct.
An "air leak" is usually something to do with an intake manifold because air is passing through. An exhaust leak is off the exhaust manifold/system.
If you had an air leak you would have a pretty bad idle unless before throttle.
If its an exhaust leak youll have that noice.
Which is it?

i'm straight piped... and i cannot feel any air leaking from behind my test pipe or resonator. it's actually pretty soft.

Re: (the soL that could)
Well if its an exhaust leak and you can't find it yet, give it a week or so. I'm sure you'll be able to find the source of your problem
