How much wear on the alternator belt is bad?
I just got a great deal on a car with a B16A3 and was checking the belts. My A/C compressor belt is nonexistent, and my alternator belt looks to have some wear of some sort on the edge nearest the motor. The car's throwing a CEL for the CKF, so I assume that somebody probably messed up the wiring and it got eaten by said alternator belt at some point. Tension is fine but I can see some obvious wear on the internal edge. Is the belt OK for now or should I replace it ASAP? I ordered a Helms manual. Can I replace all the outer belts easily in a normal garage? Clearance is pretty limited on that side.

Yes, you can replace the belts in a garage.
...but diagnose the CKF issue first by removing the crank pulley and lower timing belt cover and inspecting not only the CKF but also the timing belt job. If the mechanic goofed up the CKF, then the timing belt may not be tensioned properly and the timing belt plate may not be installed in the proper orientation on the crankshaft. If so, bigger problems are in your future if you don't fix soon.

OP you can at least post pics of the belts in question, WE DON'T SEE ANYTHING.
Also car information.
