Default How much is too much CF?

Im looking at getting a 96 green hatch. Then possibly going with a CF hood, CF lip, and a CF duckbill. Is that too much CF? Anyone have pics of their EK hatches with the listed CF parts?

its your car. do what you want. im sure you can find pics of cars with that if you searched a little. i personally like just a cf hood. the lip and wing is too much but its your car.

EDIT:just saw it was a 96. i think 96-00 looks best with just a cf hood. on an eg you can get away with all 3 but it looks tackey on a 96-00

werd. EG's own j00

but seriously, get just the CF hood, and a CTR wing (if you MUST spend money on wings). CTR wings are hot.

I agree with everybody on this one. Get the cf hood, si/ctr lip and the ct wing, then you'll be good to go.

what can you say, carbon fiber is way tight, as long as you keep a cool color combo going, rock as much as you want, just dont add colorful graphics with it though, that would look pretty terrible

I love the green hatches, because the color is so nice I would keep everything color matched. Carbon fiber would be fine, just paint it midori green, too. If you want to get carbon fiber though, I'd just get a lip and hood.. maybe a CTR wing, but thats it

as long as it's well balanced.

A car like EKFOUR's could easily be "overdone" byt the list of parts he has.... but when you look at it, everything seems to compliment the next...which is the way it should be

To each his own but my opinion is "that too much CF" is when tons of CF is acquired merely for looks and not its advantageous qualities like weight and durability for instance. I guess that view stems from my BMX racing days. None of us ever got CF parts for looks, it was for weight/strength. just my own opinion (warning for the "i can show my race parts if i want too" people).
