How much should I pay on a 92 Si
I know, I know there is a lot of threads on this but I couldn't help it I need your guys' advice. Well I found a 92 Si with 113500 miles on it which is going to be in a local auction. My friend has a car dealer's license so he's going to take me in. Well anyways...my friends dealer list had the VIN # on it so I checked it out. It came out clean except that it had a lien on it. The only thing wrong I noticed was that it had some scratches, the windshield was cracked and that the grill on the bumper was broken. They all can be fixed by switching out the parts on my CX (which has a blown block right now) except for the scratched parts. Well here's the pics. Tell me what you guys think.

since ur friend has a sales license and goes to the auction, usually when u go to tha auction and its clean title, they use tha kelly blue book value. unless its sold by a private owner. n synergy, have u sent out tha money for tha sides yet?

make sure the cost of the lien payoff is included...
whoever is selling it likely is not in any way associated with the lien debt...
other than it having to be payed off before transfer of ownership is established...
a good leverage point for price haggling...due to lien hassle...
i'd offer the seller max $1200 finder fee...
and thats only if the lien value is under $1650...
shabam
edith its an auction...duh..hmm...try and get in before auction...hey...it happens

the car went for $3750. i didnt think it was worth it. i drove the car and there was a humming noise coming from the engine. seats were messed up and some gouges in the headliner and door pannels. front hood, fenders and bumper didnt match.
