Default How much for shifter install?

I got my skunk2 short shifter in the mail today. I don't really have the tools or time to install it myself, so I was going to go to a few local auto mechanic shops to see if they could install it. Whats a reasonable amount to pay for a short shifter install?

I'm in San Fernando Valley in CA. Near LA.

So, I should expect to pay about $50 for install?

if you pay $50 to install a shifter, I really hope your goal for this car is not modification. $50 at a shop is a very optimistic figure, expect at least one hour of labor unless the shop is cool. my advice; find a hoodrat to do it for you for beer. and replace your shifter bushings at the same time

that's the most that you should pay. it takes all of a half an hour to install one. I would get new shifter bushings while you are there ($15 cheap). Be aware that Skunk2 SS likes to hit some exhausts.

just do it yourself. you just need about 45 minutes, a jack, a 10mm, 13mm socket and a screwdriver.
