How much quicker?
How much faster will my EK coupe be with a b18a or b18b engine with GSR tranny, as opposed to my d16 and auto tranny? How would it compare if I dropped in a b16a instead? Does the b18b's torque make it better than the b16a for everyday driving where I won't want to rev to 5000+ all the time just to get movin'?
Thanks in advance for any help on this.

I WOULD answer your question, but i don't want to start an entire war on this message board again b18 vs b16 due to the huge number of hot heads.
Do you some reading in the HYBRID forum.
BTW i have a 92 dx hatch with a b18b w/gsr tranny and i love it.

Re: How much quicker? (B-series Assassin)
It would be quite a difference.
To give you an idea of what would satisfy me, I have ridden in a 93 Civic hatch with a stock b18b with intake and exhaust and it definitely satisfied me...for now anyway. I think it ran a 15.4 at the track on street tires

God yes. Hell, even a manual in your car would make your car feel a lot faster. I have ridden in my friends auto 98 Ex and it feels sssooooooooooo much slower than my 96 manual.
