How much power steering fluid to buy when draining/refilling system...
I have a stock 1993 civic and I want to drain/flush the power steering fluid on. I don't have a manual handy, does anyone know how many 12 fl. oz Honda bottles I should need?
Thanks again,
Vince

System capacity for the Integra is between 1.06 and 1.12 quarts (depending upon the engine), so I'd expect the Civic to be similar. If you're buying 12 oz. bottles, three should be sufficient.

Just checked the Civic manual, and the system capacity is 1.17 quarts, so it's possible you'd need a bit more than three 12 oz. bottles for a complete refill. Chances are that there will be some fluid left in the system, so three bottles will probably still be enough.
