i would think pretty close to the vtec sohc so maybe around 125-130, no idea on the tq numbers.

should be about the same tq. stock SOHC 1.6 has 104lb/ft. stock SOHC VTEC 1.6 has 106ft/lb.

It's cheaper than doing a full swap and gives more horsepower than any single bolt on would. Someone with a DX and 90 hp at the wheels can buy a head and ecu for dirt cheap and get more horsepower than spending all the money on intake exhaust etc. Probably looking at three or four hundred on a mini me and getting a decent gain for the money. not everyone can afford to do the best of the best.

Rather than the 2 lb difference in torque numbers, lets look at HP. Afterall, a B16A2 only has a few lbs more torque than a D16Y7 but I know which one I'd rather have in my car. ;-)

For just a few hundred bucks, a mini-me swap can gain up to 25 reliable wheel HP. That is a LOT of bang for the buck.

It should be more than the stock sohc vtec. I know a D16Z6 head on a 88-91 si block has around 10.4:1 or 10.5:1 compression and with a D16Y8 head it's almost or at 11:1. The stock compression of the D16Z6 is 9.4:1 and the D16Y8 is 9.6:1 or 9.8:1 somewhere around there.
