Default How much oil for wet compreession test ?

Silly question but I think I "did it wrong" poured maybe a "shots" worth (or more) down into each of the cyl's. B18C1 engine comp dry is 225-238 1-4. wet it was almost maxing my compression gauge at 300PSI

Dangerous to pour too much liquid in there. Maybe a teaspoon..

dont wanna bend the rods doing this..

if your dry test came out almost equal across the board why are we doing a wet test?

what problems do you have with the engine?

the car ran very rich for 2 months I wanted to see how badly it did in the cyl's. **** well it was only once I've done that and wasn't for more than 3-4 cranks. had a tune session on thursday and was doing a good check/tune up on everything. canceled the appt this morning also lol.

why did you cancel? your compression seems ok. if it is runnin abnormally rich the tuner Should be able to fix it.

See i have never had any of my hondas on a dyno let alone a tuned ecu... I have a p61 ecu but am weary about having it done cause all the probs people seem to have afterwards..

i did find a legit place called MainStream Performance in dallas ga i am going to take it to when i am ready..i am just nervous about spending 400+ on getting the ecu done and tuned on a dyno.

thought my rings were toast....lol lesson learned I guess may mill the head a bit more now since I have to wait to get a session booked.

plus ppl were saying don't get it tuned if it has mechanical failures(which I do agree with 100%)
