how much is my si hatch worth? N/A cleanly modded in running order.
THIS THREAD IS NOT ABOUT THIS CAR BEING FOR SALE. yes it is for sale, but i dont know how much to ask for it so i'm finding out from you guys. one person offered my $2200 but i'm not sure if thats low or not. i'll copy and paste the sale ad below:
clean title, bought it from a friend and made some mods, now i'm looking for an AWD car for the winter (i live in maine). Everything is in good running order except for the brakes, the rear discs need work. one caliper is frozen and the other sometimes sticks a bot. rebuilding them may be good enough. i've been driving it as is daily.
the motor is in really good shape for its milage, 202K. i've been told by my friends driving behind me that there is a little bit of smoke right before redline, but its not even enough for me to tell from inside the car. it's got good high compression even after a seafoam treatment. i can provide pics/video of the compression gauge if someone really wants it. no ticking/knocking/sounds/etc, the motor is super.
i repaired some rust on the rear quarters when i bought it so that i could get a new inspection, at the same time i somewhat smoothed out a push in dent on the drivers side. they should be smoothed out more and repainted if you want it mint. otherwise the paint is good for its age, some chips and stuff but nothing too bad.
suspension is tight.
interior is good.
electronics are all sound.
fun car, pretty quick, i get all sorts of thumbs ups in it, i love it but maine winters suck and i need something good in the snow...
...i'll probably get an integra or lude next summer.
i'll edit if i remember anything.
i'll most definetly forget everything it has, but heres my best shot:
motor:
- intake
- dc sports headers
- apexi dunk midpipe going to a manual cutout that will either dump the exhaust at the back wheel, or go through a stock muffler.
- AEM pulleys
- AEM adj. cam gear
exterior:
- 16" mille miglia volcanos'
- 225/40/16 fronts/205/45/16 rears
- type r lip
- black projector headlights
- black corner blinkers
- half black/half red taillights
- blacked out honda logos
- tucked/hidden engine bay wires
- resprayed engine bay and some engine accesories (brackets)
suspension:
- energy supensions poly control arm bushing set (upper/lower)
- coilover sleeves/integra stock shocks
- Front H brace
- Front/rear strut bars
- stock si front sway bar
- hawk performance pads front
- stock si rear discs (need work)
Interior:
- reclinable/slidable race seats
- ultra suede door inserts and flush speaker mounts
- autometer boost/air fuel/oil temp gauges in dash
- apexi rev/speed meter (1/4mi time, cruising speed, top speed, 0-60 time, 0-100 time, etc, wires into the computer and is pretty damn accurate if theres little/no wheelspin)
- white face indiglo gauges
- stock si black interior
- short shifter
- replica type r shift ****
- factory option consol with custom panel
- radar detector (hard wired and somewhat hidden above the rear view mirror)
- 4 switches go to: radar power, sub amp power, autometer gauges power, and last one is nothing.
Stereo:
- Kenwood excelon 815 head unit
- Kicker 5.25 front channels (flush mounted on ultra suede)
- pioneer 40wrmsX2 for front channels, under seat
- infinity 10" reference sub
- PPI 150wrms? amp for sub
- custom box fits under strut bar and is removable with no tools in about 5min. hand painted, real bamboo insert for amp rack, sounds good.
some of the pics are a little old, like the pre-lowered one, the amp wiring on the battery is also redone and is much cleaner.

i have the majority of a turbo kit put together, but i think i'm going to part the kit out. i figured i'd put the gauge in while i did the other two as opposed to having a gap in the middle.

the EG is a very good car, but isn't worth much.

Re: (RedEK9)
2,000 is a good price...body needs work...and some of the interior may not be as desireable as you see it....like some of the custom work...i would prefer all stock interior....while buying a new car....also your front strut bar is upside down... just to let you know..i dono...i was just lookin....its a clean hatch tho and Si hatches are getting rare atleast where i'm at...
