how much FUEL PRESSURE?
Alright guys, i'm runing toda spec b cams, toda springs, and portflow retainers, any suggestions on how much fuel pressure i should be running? I don't wanna run to rich and possibly cause my cams to float but i dont wanna break my ish. My supervisor said put it up at 40 psi and if i need to bump my fuel down, do it on my vafc. It makes sense....any ideas?

Re: how much FUEL PRESSURE? (todaspecsi)
It really all depends on how your car is running and are you on stock injectors, fuel pump, ecu and the rest of your mods.
For awhile I was running 50psi on my current car, but when I dropped in the new header the car got thirsty. I ended up running 60psi static fuel pressure at the track.
What setting is it at now with the hose off? How is the car running now? Do you have a VAFC yet?

Re: how much FUEL PRESSURE? (12 oz.)
it was at 20psi with vtec at 7000 rpm yesturday and it sounded okay but i felt like i wasnt getting all out of my motor that i should. also i'd get an engine light whenever i go down hill and wouldnt go away untill i restarted my engine. Yesturday i bumped it to 40 psi and put my vtec at 5500rpm. I ran it down the road and sounded as if vtec was turnin on an off. the close i moved the vtec setting to 7000 rpm, the vtec didn't act up as much.. I do have a VAFC, I have a mugen spec ECU and stock injectors, and sense its relative.....an adjustable fuel regulator

My p2t ecu runs 41psi stock. 20psi sounds a little low to me. Messing with your fuel curve without a wideband 02 sensor is a disaster waiting to happen. Tune your fuel on a dyno bro.
