how much is this civic worth?
its a 98 civic hx 2 door black has 120k on the body told 85k on motor when i bought it and had it swapped in
has a b18b1 swap with gsr tranny
lowered 2 inches on springs tein i believe
polished newer lx wheels - gonna have konig retracks on it in a few weeks
intake
ebay exhaust/noname header
innovative 95A solid motor mounts
body is about 7/10 few dings here and there
interior is about 7.5/10
headunit, system
8k hid
the bad
running a civic cx ecu (ls ecu wont work with hx harness) i will have a ex harness with the ls ecu in it shortly.
ebay exhaust, doesnt sound too bad wish i didnt cheap out though
burns a little bit of oil
tranny makes a little bit of noise when idles (input shaft)
overall is a solid car just want some thoughts of how much i could get for it so i can see if i wanna sell or keep and fix up more and boost
thanks - Alex

Post it for 4k and go from there. I wouldn't expect 4k for it, atleast I wouldnt pay any where near that.
Needs work, that could end up costing quite a bit.

and the tranny makes noise since the ******* who swapped it put gear oil in my tranny and ever since then it makes a little bit of noise when idlein im just ocd and notice every little noise, u have to listen very closely to hear it so idk if it is the input shaft or anything major not sure im just guessing its that

Those cars are pretty hot over here in cali, to give u an example about a week ago our place had a 99 with 175k and it sold for $5,995, clean it up you should get 4k easy.

i would say 3k just because u have a swap dont increase the value of a car. the more stock the car is the more its worth

yeah if u can find a tuner guy that wants it. it shouldn't be that much of a problem getting rid of. id put 3500 and see what kinda hits u get. a lot of people they try to low ball if u set ur price too low make sure u put FIRM.

Like most have mentioned....$4000 OBO sounds reasonable. Just make sure to let potential buyers know about the oil consumption and other issues. Be as honest as you can when selling it.

Just run a '96 - '99 LS ECU, plugs right in. If you're planning on trying to run a '99 - '00 Civic harness and an '00 - '01 Integra ECU, forget it, not gonna happen. ECU has an immobilizer and using that harness combination will leave you with no tach or speedometer.
