How much is a brand new B16a2 S4 tranny from the dealer?
I can't find a legit one locally, so to me, this is my only option left. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

that ***** gonna be too expensive from the dealer, just pick one up locally and just make sure it works

check recycler.com.... but be wary if you have to ship..but if your picking it up there are a few trannies there for sale

Yeah i check recycler and thepartstrader.com out all the time. But there aren't really any other ways to see if the tranny works or not unless i get to try it out on the person's car. But doing that is kinda risky.
How much do you guys estimate the cost of a Si tranny would be? 1100-1300? That sounds like an OK price to me if you ask me. Brand new, 0 miles, never been ragged on, you know its not stolen and you know it works. To me the extra price is worth the peace of mind (depending on how much extra).
