how much brake fluid for a rear brake swap

Default how much brake fluid for a rear brake swap

most likely gonna swap out the rear drum for discs and change the front pads this weekend. how much fluid should I have on hand? TIA

Buy three or four small bottles or just two of the big ones. You gotta bleed the crap out of them.

I didn't even use 1litre. Might want to have 2litres on hand just to be safe.

Nah you'll just need one large one but I'd buy a second if you have problems. Try to plug the brake line with something, don't pinch it, so your not draining the entire line back to the M/C.

Try to plug the brake line with something, don't pinch it, so your not draining the entire line back to the M/C.
I was planing on doing that. right now I have 1 500ml/1pint bottle. guess I will go get 2 more just incase.
