How much 96 CX hatch w/ 68K BONE STOCK??
Found the perfect hatch for sale and it's silver so my CTR lip and silver Slipstreams would work out for it. How much do you guys think it's worth. KBB and Edmunds are saying around $5100.
He wants $5500 and doesn't seem to want to budge on the price.
This thing is flawless. It's owned by an old retired couple and they want to sell it cuz' his wife wanted A/C. This thing is totally bare bones. No A/C, Tape, power steering. Notta!! Couple little surface scratches that'll buff out pretty easily. Spotless interior.
PERFECT PROJECT CAR FOR ME.
Any suggestions??
Thanks people!!

I say give him the 5500, I would. I payed 5000 for my 96 CX, in excellent condition, completely stock with AC, but it had 104k miles.
If it is in good condition with low miles for a 96, you found a steal.
It doesn't matter what they are asking....it matters more if the car is worth 5500 to YOU. KBB is a good resource, but it isnt the bible.
If you think it is worth it, grab it, because somebody else will, I guarantee. Where did you say that car was again?

My boy just picked up a salvage title 2000 hatch with broken glass all around and slashed seats for $3000. He has racing seats and we ordered all the glass for $450...now you tell me.

Mine was expensive at $7k for a 96 DX with 79k miles. That was with tax title and license from a dealer tho. They had it advertised for $6k. I was mad, but I had flown all the way out on thier promise of 6k. Oh well. My car is completely clean. There are a few small scratches, but the engine, chassis and interior are immaculate. So, $5500 is a pretty good deal.

Re: How much 96 CX hatch w/ 68K BONE STOCK?? (2K DX)
Those are all fine and dandy but I'm 10 hours away from the Chicago area. If this deal doesn't work out it's no big deal. I'll just keep my eyes open.
