a good cleaning of the interior would make it worth just a bit more, my friends was dirty when he tried to sell it (on the inside) and his offers instantly went up a bit when he cleaned the interior thoroughly

Re: (bey)
It's so hard for us to just tell you what you could get for it...b/c it's all about what some specific person is willing to pay. I could easily see some high schooler thats looking for a nice car, thats "done" and has a tUrbO y0!, paying 8grand.
Now me knowing about that engine and what it can do and being on honda-tech and seeing what other people are buying their cars for...possibly 5grand.

The exterior of the car or the unpainted engine bay and door jambs? That looks like ***. Rat's nest engine bay, unpainted jambs, fugly fog lights, and nasty *** interior, I'd be hard pressed to justify $4,000.00 for that. But that's just me.

I agree. You're better off trying to sell it some high school kid like mentioned above.

no **** guys... i'm not looking to sell it to some guy that knows everything about hondas.....
i wouldn't paint the engine bays unless i'm doing a swap.... jamms are getting done soon.. the engine bay is kind of nasty.. too much stuff in there...the inside looks dirty because its wet from snow.. and i drive it everyday..

Re: (bey)
5.5k generous
BTW, when you say 65k miles. Is that on the engine or the chassis? Or both?
I find it kind of impressive that a 1993 car which is driven every day has so few miles on it. Hell, one might even say it's barely broken in.
You must not go very far on it.
for the nice car though. Engine bay isn't painted, and it does "look like ***," but since I really don't give much of a **** about looks...I wouldn't count it against the price...especially since I wouldn't be driving around with my hood open.
Now, the door jambs are a different story. They'd just irritate me at every sight...and they'd attract attention IMO. But that's still nothing major.
And nothing's wrong with the interior except for some dirt. Removable dirt doesn't lower a car's value , even though it may lower the amount of people that take buying your car into consideration.
I like the color. Can you post some sharper, high res pics so we could see its quality? I wanna see what kind of paint skillz0rz you have.
Fog lights g2g.

WHy are you selling? Moving on to bigger and better things? I'm just wondering why I always see people trying to sell the cars after dumping all that money into them.

thats 65k on the 2nd engine and about 115k on the chassie... no rust at all.. i drive it all winter and summer but only in town. ..uhmm paint skills... this was my first paint job in autobody class... .. had some dry spray on the front bumber and ran the clear coat in a few places.. but fixed it. ...everything layed flat as glass.. only the rear bumber had orange peel on it..
yea i spent like 3to4k on it but i wanna sell it cause i don't want to do anything else to the car... time to start something new... something like .. a 93 240sx fastback
