alright, i have a CTR 5 lug setup on my 99 EK, and am about to put a new set of 16x7 5x114.3 +45 Slipstreams on. i hear the hub diameter on all civics is 56.1mm.

do rota's have a set hub bore? or do i have to measure it? on the rim itself there's a, christ, i can't explain it. its cut diagonally, or tapered. would i mesure the wider part of that bore? or the thinner inner part?

what points on the hub do i measure to get the diameter to double check my hub diameter?

Thanks, need to pick these up ASAP, so i can install before the 16th.

why did u spend 1000 dollars for 1 more lug and rear discs , and 400 on rims???? if ur gonna do it do it right , get some rims to compliment all ur other stuff , like the sustec pros and ctr 5 lug

get a pair of calipers and use them... not that hard. even a tape measure will work, but you'll have more error. just measure the part of the center of the hub that the center of the wheel sits on, and measure the part of the wheel that sits on the hub.

also, it should say on the box for your rotas what the centerbore is, and you could always *buy a helms manual* to find the diameter of your hub.

Go to http://www.prestigewheel.com. They have the common bore sizes for most rims.. Including rota...

i dont know if it helps but i have the integra type r 5 lug conversion and im running the 5 X 114.3 rota slip streams and all i did was buy the rims and throw them on lol. i didnt measure any bore or hub or any thing. any everythng is fine on my car. i dont hear any weird noises coming from my hubs or wheels.

I believe the Hub Bore is different on the 5 lug setup as the center bore on ITR rotors is larger than on GSR/LS/SE/RS rotors, which are the same as Civic Si rotors.

So my guess is that the 5 lug hubs have a larger diameter than the 4 lug setups. The guys in the ITR forum could answer your question in a heartbeat, well mayeb one day at least.

Also the guys at http://www.machiii.net would know the Rota bore diameter and also the Integra Type R hub diameter and can send you hubrings for your application.

The place to measure the Wheel Bore diameter is the cylindrical (can shaped) portion, not the countersink (angled) area.

Note that you do not need to run hubrings with Rota wheels, although hubcentric rings do remove some stress from the lugstuds, but if you are not doing time trials or hard road racing, dont even bother with the hubrings man, just torque your lugnuts in sequence and to the proper torque, this will prevent uneven loading and prevent any over stressing on the lugstuds.

eh, figured it out... hub diameter is 64.15mm... my rotas' bore is 73mm, ordered them from prestigewheel.com =o)

same exact rim as the jdm ctr rim . yes . oh i forgot rotas are much better than itr rims

i used to have rotas , and i went to oem , i dont hate rotas i just think if your gonna go all out on ur suspension , why not with the wheels too . its all good tho.

they are wider yes , but i have 205's on my itrs just like i had 205's on my rotas . so it doesnt make a difference. and they are both cast . so there is no reason to call them inferior to rota
