just wanna see who else out there is still dealing with car payments. i just refinanced my car so i could get a better interest rate. i was planning to finance a hatch but i would rather get my first car payed off. if you are paying for your car. how are you managing to mod it?

*i wish i was a spoiled rich kid*

Bought my 92 hatch in 01, paid for it in 01, sold it in 02, paid for my Del Sol in 02. Buy crap and build it...it leaves you with more money.

Still paying. . .I could have paid off the hb buy now. . .but instead I chose to save for the swap.

I still have 2 years left on the loan.

my payments are only 125.00 a month. i'll be paying forever, but i still have money to do small things to the hatch.

*EDIT* oh, and right now, i'm currently unemployed. it's hard finding a decent job that can work around my class times. so right now... my parents are making the payments, as well as paying for my insurance.

I am still paying for my 95 hb and it sucks, not the car but having to pay for it.I just needed to establish some credit.I pay 100 a month.Im almost done now so im planning on doing my swap soon, i didnt want to do it and have no money to pay for it and end up getting it repo.My suggestion is to make 2 list of what you would like to do to your car,one list for what you really want and another list of what you want but could do without.Buy the little things first and get them out the way since you dont have a job,try to save like $100-$150 or more a month is possible, and buy used parts if you can.Sometimes you can get some used parts for cheap and save yourself some cash. Good Luck

because you are still paying for something on a car that aint running. IMO i would feel shitty if i was still paying on something and my car aint even running. and if you put it on credit your paying interest on it so your paying even more. if i payed cash and i blew my motor i wouldnt feel so bad.
