how many sensors on a ek...
well i have a 96 ek that lately is been giving me trouble... I few months back it was giving me a bad iddle that the car would turn off and when it didnt and it was just standing the iddle would slowly go back to normal. I found a solution by turning my lights on and it will not turn off it will still idle bad but it will not turn off. well yesterday on my way to my second job i was on fourth gear and going at 55 60 mph and i decided to accelarate to shitt to fifth, when all of a sudden the cars jurked off a little then a little after start jerking and it will stop then continue and then it didnt stop... the feeling was more or less when you hava spark plug cable loose that the engine is a little shaky when you accelarate... well the same way. so I parked the car on the side and check all the spark plug cables and all of them were giving sparks and were good. So now my question is... could this be a sensor problem? iddle sensor, o2 sensor, or any other type of sensor?
oh yeah in case you ask... in the past 2 months or so I did change my fuel filter, spark plugs cables and spark plugs, oil change, intake filter. Done this cause the iddling was really bad... but didnt help.
any suggestions?

how many sensors are there on ek that would affect the iddling or fuel flow?

Are you throwing any codes? Spark plugs gapped correctly?
Only "sensor" type thing that could give you a bad idle is the IAC but that wouldnt cause driving problems like your talking about. When a sensor is bad youll throw a code, if your not throwing a code your sensors are good.
Another thing it could be is your ignitor/coil. Does your tach jump randomly or a little in any case? I would change that.

I only throw a code if I start driving the car but if I stay still doesnt throw a code at all... you might be right on the ignitor/coil since the tach jump randomly most of the time.
