How many RPMs can the stock retainers hold
I was wondering how high the stock retainers can go?
Can they handle 9000 rpms
I have skunk 2 springs but stock retainers
i have a 00 si

sorry man, i've been asking such questions for a while, i tried all-motor forum section but i never got a reply, best to add a picture of the valves you will get a awnser. Also, you could call skunk, thier really nice people.

9000 rpms is a bad idea on stock retainers IMO.....ESpecially if all you have done is skunk 2 springs on a basically stock b16 (assuming thats what motor you are refering to).

I wouldnt rev past stock rev limitor until you go to the dyno and see where you stop making power.
