your talking about the trim peice inside the wheel well right? I dont see how air is going to rap around the fender for your intake but i DO know is if you hit water/mud it WILL wing it forward...idk if your intake will suck it up but i know one side of my hatch did not have it and i would constatly have mud dripping from my corner....

i got drunk 1 night and a few of them screw/clips out cuz i was in a rush and cold..
then i hear a loud noise on hwy pull into some apartments and my **** was ate through... on the front side

I can't rock em cuz my cars too slammed =/. I need to lift it back up on the coilovers and put em back in tho cuz my cars getting nasty without em!

why couldnt you take a mudflap off of a semi or something and trim it up to fir ont the inside of your fender. then you can still keep it slammed but dont have to worry about all the dirt and junk getting stuck.

Never thought about that, I might have to try and fab up some kinda inner fender that'll work. But the OEM ones def. didn't work for me with it slammed.. My tires rubbed so bad on them it ripped a hole into my the one on my pass. side.

I have part of my inner fenders left. I cut off the top section that was hitting my tires, but still have the rear section (in front of the door) and the front. Keeps most road grime/dirt/water from spreading. Just another option.

After washing another car without fender liners and finding rocks and sand and mud and dirt along the top of underneath the hood, next to the shock towers and on top of the sideskirts, I think I'll keep my fender liners.

Yep, also rocks can get kicked up by the tires and dent the fenders from the inside out.

Is going through the trouble of taking them out, and then having dirt and what not THROWN everywhere REALLY worth "having more air for the short ram"?

I rcomend keeping them. it wont be a single horse gain if you take them not even for the weight reduction.

i have them in my eg hb but not in my ek hb, it sits too low but im modifing some old inner finders to fit by the doors to keep from throwing trash up in the rear part of the fenders.
