just curious to know how many people are stuck with one. i have a dx automatic and it is slow as shot. it does not gain any thing from mods, not that i thought it would. i hate it, and i might sell my car this sumer to get a car with a 5 speed. how many of you are converting to 5 speed or have already?

I only ask because I've taken apart an auto HX before and they have this odd belt instead of a TC.

I do not have a automatic, but I used to . I know exactly how you feel man. Everyone was telling me to sell the auto..but I had to wait for a while. So after a year, I finally sold the auto and got a 5 speed si. wow..so much difference. Good luck with your search for a 5 speed man.

p.s. I dunno if converting to a 5 speed is worth it. Maybe its better to buy a 5 speed and sell the auto??

what do you drive? 92-95 dx hatch? if so swap in a manual b series. if not get rid of it.

I have an auto and its gonna stay that way until the engine dies or something, then I'll give her a swap and 5 spd conversion just for fun (by then I should have another car as well) but for now auto suits me just fine

I have an automatic, I thought a long time about converting it to manual, but I decided to get another manual hatchback instead. Now the auto is going to be sold or traded in for another automatic...its the family car.

yeah, i would try to get rid of that thing in the summer like you said. personally, i don't like coupes, and i hate green cars and automatics. the 92-95 si is pretty quick out of the box, and if you want some real speed, get like a 92 CX and swap in a b18c.

My car is auto. I don't care right now. My buddys say it's pretty quick for an auto.

It'll be 5spd in the summer though. I can't wait.

I used to have an auto 92 DX hatch after my prelude went out of commission... then a 5 spd. CRX then my 93 CX 5 spd.

i have a dx hatch use to be auto did auto to stick b18c swap i use to be slow too
now all i hear is DAYUM thats fast... the only thing left auto is my cluster ex auto hehe... but i miss my auto nothing like shiftin D1 D2 D3 D yeah sohc power
