How many o2 sensor

Im trying to change my o2 sensor for better mileage for my 92 civic .i look under the catalylic converter it does not have a sensor.but i see one on top next to the radiator and header,is that the one.

95 and below have one, on the header behind the radiator. 96+ have two one on the header and one behind the car.

200 a tank ,would it help to change the fuel filter,i don't want to waste money

yes, and check your tire pressure and air filter too. Also do spark plugs

i mean o2 sensor its pretty expensive.everything else is good though
