Should be able to get 4th with a clutchmasters stage 3 .. maybe get 3rd with a stock clutch .. maybe get none with a slipping stock clutch .

Honestly, if you're ripping them in 4th, it's a sign of lack of traction as apposed to being some all powerful jesus machine.
Get some better tires, I bet you can barely rip second anymore.

Re: (Hater)
spinning tires =/ speed
You don't want to be "getting rubber" because that means the power that is going to the wheels isn't being used efficiently (sp).

I'm sorry man but this topic is just way lame.
"Getting rubber" or laying drag, spinning tires, etc. is no measure of how powerful an engine is.
If I pump stock 175/70/13 tires up to 50psi and have a new clutch in a 1992 Civic Si hatchback with the stock D16Z6 engine I will be able to bark 4th gear and below.
My B18C5 swap rarely spins second gear, but does that mean that it's not faster than the next guy with a stock DX motor who chirps second louder and longer than I?
LSD will cut down on tire slippage, but would you skip adding one because of that? I'd certainly hope not.
Also better tires = less spinnage and better traction, and most importantly, quicker ETs etc...
Sorry but this one is topic is going nowhere fast...just like dumbasses who spin tires in gears 1-3.
