Re: how many body reinforcement bars do you have? (feint_style)
I have 7 altogether (no rollbar, don't want one), my cars stiff, but I definately added some weight with all that hardware. Maybe I have too many too

acura has a lower front control bar? show me a pic =P or comptech maybe?
_______
On the 94 up Integra's, parrallel to the rear cross member, where the rear motor mount sits, theres a bar that stretches across (above the header). On 92-95 civics, the holes are predrilled and tapped, the bar is a perfect fit, uses four mounting bolts, I believe they're 12mm, works very well for stiffening the front end. I know that Benen makes the same bar for about 140 bucks, but the Acura bar does a good job, and only cost me 10 bucks at a body shop

Feintstyle, did you notice a big difference when you added the second bar up front? Or did you do them at the same time? Also, does that lower one scrape alot?

Re: how many body reinforcement bars do you have? (feint_style)
You guys know swaybars aren't reinforcement right? Just commenting since that's what the title says.
Anyway, I have a Skunk2 front upper, and a Comptech rear lower (comptech tiebar/swaybar combo). I might eventually get a rear upper, but probably after I install a rollcage in the car.
It's often hard to quantify exactly what these bars are doing. I put a Spoon front upper bar on my prelude (when I owned it), riding on Tein HA's. I could tell a difference, but couldn't tell it was better. Some time later when I went to sell the car I started selling stuff off. The Spoon bar was the first to go and when I took it off the car actually drove better.

Re: how many body reinforcement bars do you have? (JeffS)
Isnt having alot of bars bad? Like having the car too stiff. Cuz I heard of cars cracking in some places due to it being too stiff. But so far I have upper f/b strut bars. I want to have the car as logically stiff for the street as possible w/o causing problems.
