That being said; OP, boost, swap for something bigger, or attach it to another car that is pulling it along to go faster.
You have a grocery getter, this isn't the fast and the furious.
Btw, I hated those movies.

I had that motor in my Civic for a couple years when I first bought it. It's just a big piece of **** in terms of making it fast. I would recomend swaping out to a B-series motor. A B18B would be a cheap, easy swap and would be alot of fun. You will like the increase in torque too.

Back to the topic at hand, you will not make your car very much if any faster with bolt on modifications, headers, intakes, mufflers are really just for noise Unless you're boosted or get it tuned well. Like nearly everyone else has said it'd pretty much be a waste of time and money to do these mods on a sohc without boosting it, do what they suggest and go for a B series swap, they are readily available and less expensive than others. Or just say **** the advise and go with the fart can and annoy everyone around you

Well, I think the OP needs to explore the FAQs sticky and then after reading relevant links there, he should come back with specific, well developed tech questions.
