Hey guys I was wondering how I could make my corner lights blink faster, you know when you turn your blinker on. Also what kind of bulbs can I buy for my 98' civic that look sharp but that I won't get pulled over for (I live in Texas if that matters). The lights on there right now are getting bad, they are a nasty yellow color. Like I said I just want something that looks sharp but won't get me a ticket. Are hyper-whites legal? Can I get something that has color? These questions probably sound really dumb to you guys but I'm new to this whole car thing. I'm a 18 yr. old female and I just purchased my first car! Any other suggestions for minor upgrades for a newbie that aren't to expensive? Thanks!

just take out a light bulb somewhere. they blink reeaaaly fast then.

What do you mean? Hey man I'm in college and broke I can't afford any tickets from the damn po-po. If actually had some $ I really wouldn't care b/c the best upgrades are the illegal ones.

Your front turn signals have to be AMBER COLORED ONLY.

Your rear turn signals can be AMBER OR RED ONLY.

Period.

Then just don't do anything. Spend some time on this site, and figure out which mods can do what, and what their cost / benifit is. Also, figure out what other people with your car are doing. It may not be worth doing anything at all if you have a 90hp base model (cheaply, anyway); and you could just end up wasting your money.

I know you probably want to go out and get your car all blingin', but since you're broke and in college, start out doing your own work on maintenance to keep the thing going and give you experience. Then worry about mods later.

If you really want a fast blinker go pick yourself up some LED bulbs for the blinkers the lower resistance will make the car think the bulb is burnt out. But dont know why on earth you would want it to blink fast.
