How To Make Gauges Light Up

You have to pull out/or cut the 2 power wires from the connector that connects to the guage cluster and connect those to the lil black box that came with your guages. I say to cut the wires and not tap into them because having the cluster lights AND the indiglo guages lit up at the same time looks like crap. I did this like 5 years ago so I dont remember exactly which 2 wires were the light wires. Maybe someone could post a diagram.

C4 yellow wire Positive (fuse 25) or you could just use a spade terminal and slide it under the positive marked screw for the tach or speedo both options work for power.
For illumination connect to the C13 Red/Black wire, this the positive for illumination but the cluster uses a ground controlled negative for dimming...

Well I figure if my buddy with a turbo'd integra trusts me to install his new gauges and wire them up, as well as most of my friends come to me with any form of electronics questions or installations, I thing I know what I'm doing
Honestly tho, on my buddies integra this is how I did the wiring for his gauges and the tach that was in my car before I got an EX cluster was drawing power from the gauges in the same fashion I mentioned above... And I'm using the same set up for my gauges (but I'm getting light power from the hvac since my gauges are where my stereo used to be).
