how to make a braided clutch line for an eg chassis DIY w/ part numbers
i posted this in drag, but also should pertain to the eg forum. use it if you would like:
i am bored tonight, and saw a thread the other day asking about it.
i know this works on an eg, it is the setup i have.
i had my local hydraulics shop build this for me, AND THIS IS NOT A 4/S THREAD.
i am providing you with part numbers that may or may not corss over to your shop, but i had this made for me for less than 50 bucks.
yes it has the 10mm nut on one end and the 12mm on the other. no adapters.
2.5' of hose with metal tubes you can bend to whatever angle you need. i bypassed the flex line and the mount on the right side, coming over the trans straight to the slave.
part numbers appear to be Brake Hose Manufacturing Systems
hope this helps you guys out
2.5' of hose p/n BQ303
2 hose inserts p/n BQ15BL
2 tube lengths p/n BQHF02
1 10mmx1.0 tube nut p/n BQ72
1 12mmx1.0 tube nut p/n BQ9180
i am going off of my invoice and really dont know whats past the part numbers.
hope this helps. i did this from the hip and it seems as if the hydraulics shop knew exactly what to do.
the only thing i cant remember if it is bubble flare or inverted.
good luck
