i would say a lil more than 5k prolly about 8-9k... including the swap itself ur looking into a legit turbo settup not some cheap ebay thing... a hell of a fuel management system (neptune, crome, AEM, etc...) and about a 1grand for tuning and fuel stuff.. power... its not cheap man

I'm only shooting for 300 whp so i can increase reliability but I'm sure I could get to 450 with what i have planned

Plan on spending about $8k for everything:

turbo $4k:
turbo itself
ramhorn mani
bov
intercooler
intercooler piping
wastegate
engine management
oil lines
injectors
wideband 02 sensor
misc gauges
Other misc **** we all forget about

Engine $5k:
sleeving
pauter rods
cp pistons
crank micropolishing
acl bearings
arp headstuds
headgasket
supertech valvetrain
ITR cams
adjustable cam gears
*axles
*LSD

I'll be doing a big writeup on my whole turbo install this Christmas and an even bigger writeup on the engine rebuild next Summer. Keep in mind though that all this is just for going fast in a straight line. Add another $3k for stopping/handling/projector retro. Add another $4k for cosmetics, paintjob and a ultra phat CIA, black-ops alarm system and that's where I'll be at in 2 years.....

There are worse ways to waste money and although i kick myself for planning to spend all this money, If i think about it, the max I'd get is $6k back on my civic in a trade-in towards a $31k TSX. My car will handle better, brake better, get better gas mileage ( of course when not on the throttle ) be a whole hellova lot faster and will be slightly less reliable than a stock TSX.

Cliff notes:
Restoring, rebuilding and making my *first car ( 1st car "I" bought ) kick-*** - $16k
Buying a great, new...but slow/sloppy car - $25k

That's my POV, hope it helps. Good luck with the build and spend a good 3 months researching before you start buying pieces. Spend a lot of time on the FI forum asking questions.
