How long will it last?
I got a set of i-box lowering springs for free recently..but am hesistant to lower my car using them cause i hear that you could blow your stock shocks....
better alternative is to use coilovers, but for now i cna't afford that, so was thinking of lowering on these springs for now till i have the funds to upgrade.
My question is how long will my stock suspension (on average) handle this lowering method? i'm running ITR suspension on an EH2 rite now. And, any way to lower properly with lowering springs so that i don't risk damage to my car?
on a side note, will a del sol hood fit on an EH2?
Thanks in advanced

i-box springs?
theres MILLIONS of threads on this exact topic... i believe your stock shocks would last a little while if you're not crazy low, but thats about it.
someone else, correct me.

I think you mean eibach, not i-box, and lowering your ride height is hard on the stock shocks, but if you plan to replace them later anyways, it won't matter. IMO, a full coilover is the way to go, and it would be worth saving up for instead of the instant gratification you would have by dropping your car now.

nope, del sol hoods only fit del sol's.

if they are prokit springs he should be fine with stock shocks as the springs only lower the car around 1.5 inches, anything more i would get new shocks. But i would get them anways

maybe i'll go searching for old threads about lowering springs...thanks guys!

Take the set of free springs.. turn around and sell them, buy a new stock clutch and brake pads then start savin for some coilovers.
