Default how long for type r cams to break in

i just put a set of type r cams in my gsr and i wanted to know how long or how to break in

the oiling system of a vtec engine and the valve train style, you should be fine.
break in on like a chevy v8 is critical because the lobes are splash oiled from the crank. thats why you have to break in those cams. i just took it around the block, adjusted the valves and changed the oil and called it a day.

Try throwing them in, adjusting the valves, and then after about 100 miles re adjust them.

uh...yea. also, once installed, take the car to red line in first gear and then drop to 2nd and redline it again...cams are broken in

They say to run it at various RPM's, keeping 'em under 6K for about 100 miles or so. City traffic would be perfect. Just avoid constant RPM's and reving over 6K. Should be fine.
