WOAH!!! I can't believe your clutches lasted that long. I got my Si brand new and learned to drive on it. The clucth lasted less than 25k. LOL. I now have an ACT and its got 40k + on it and still slammin gears like always.

it might cause a little more wear with the stop and go traffic, but it shouldnt have gone after 6 thousand miles if it was fine when you bought it.. you had to have either driven it hard or bad or something like that...

on my clutch 3 people learned on it, and its still working, it should be replaced, but its very usable still.. my mom learned, my brother, and I did as well... but its still holding up.

put the car in 4th gear at a stop. try to roll forward normally. if the engine stays alive and the car moves a little its going bad.

Never had to replace a Honda Clutch

Clutch in my 86 Accord Hatchback lasted till 350000 KM and I got rid of the car at that point

Clutch on my 90 Prelude lasted till 310000 KM and then I got rid of that car

Clutch on my EM1 has 90000 KM on it and still going strong.
