Default HOW-TO: JDM folding mirror install

I finally finished my page about my folding mirror installation. Definately not that hard for those trying to do this. I know a very few people where asking about this.

Let me know if I am missing anything, I am/was half drunk when I was finishing it.

BTW: I have a set of EG6 and EG9 folding mirrors I could part with.

I have the mirrors on my car but you have to adjust the mirror all the way to the left for you to see. You should be able to see fine but the glass part of it sticks out a bit. I used network cables to run the wires to the two mirrors. Cheap and easy.

To solve this, you must swap the motors/glass of the jdm ones to the usdm frames in order to have them see correctly. If you search in the Integra Type R forum, they have a write-up on how to do this.

Yeah, you can just crack open the cases and swap the mirrors. I couldn't do this because I didn't have my original driver's side mirror (freak road debris accident).

Although my view isn't THAT bad, I don't know what everyone bitches about. You should glance over your sholder when changing lanes or backing up anyway.
