Default how to: integra rear disc swap on civic coupe (EG)

well i did this along time ago but i saw alot of questions here, so this is all from memory sorry about not having pics

again this is a quick and dirty write up to see if i even like doing these things if response to this is bad ill remove it, at your wishes..........................and most likely never write one again and ridicule you for lack of knowldge on these damn lego cars

tools needed:
-jack
-jack stands
-10mm wrnch
-12 mm wrench
-10 mm socket
-12mm socket

recommended tools:
-air
-air ratchet
-impact sockets
-pliers
-flare nut wrench
-screw dricers

what the grab from the integra:

-prop valve*******
-both rear trailing arms and errything connected
-upper and lower control arms

self explantory really, raise the rear of the car and place on jack stands,

the first thing you will want to do is remove both rear wheels

second, remove the cotter clip holding the brake soft line, use a 10mm flare nut wrench to remove the brake soft line from the hardline

next you will want to compress the spring/shock with your jack

after that remove both bolts securing the upper and lower control arms, as well as the 2 bolts holding the phyiscal trailing arm

lower the jack slowly simoutanusly guiding the trailing arm down.

dont worry about that e brake cable just yet, let the e brake cable support the trailing arm, set the arm on the ground.

slide under the car with a 12mm racheting wrench and socket wrench, snake your hand through the exhust heat shields and remove both parking brake cable brackets. inside of the car under the arm rest you will need to remove the 2 12 mm bolts holding the brakcet, and cables, after removing the bracket slide the bracket sideways and pry the cable out

snake the cable out and remove the entire assembly you cannot use any of it on the coupe

to install the integra unit start with the lower cntrl arm first then use that as a pivot to rotate the unit and attach the lower shock (i took a good 15 tries to get this right) then attach the upper control arm and the soft brake line

prop valve (not required)

recommended that you buy a flare nut for this and not be ghetto

easier said than done guys

simple remove the flare nuts and the 10mm bolts holding the prop valve to the firewall

replace with the non-abs integra unit.

if you managed to strip it like i have no worries, cut the lines to where you have some room to work, rent the double flareing tool from autozone (26 bucks) buy a flare nut kit and brake line union (its a nut on both ends to connect 2 male flare nuts) and rebuild you're line. the flare nut unioins are very common hardline pieaces used on COBRA kit cars, so if you cant find any use 2 non metric ones making sure your flare nut going to the orignal prop valve is an oem metric unit

simple right? amazing how many people dont get this its a very very simple procedure, its the easiest thing you can do to a honda.............................o ya and K swaps arent hard! they're easy just expensive......kind of
