My 2 cents. Spending 800$ on what, a steering wheel that makes you unsafe in a wreck and causes most insurance companies to not give you your money cause you took off the airbag? Is it worth it? For a ugly steering wheel? Why don't you try the club. Or this thing called brake lock. Is this for security so you take take off your wheel? For 800$, whats its REAL purpose? I'm curious.

but a brake lock isnt JDM and racey yo!

hub release on a street car

dont ever get into an accident or tell your insurance company, they will drop you real fast. not to mention its illegal to remove a working airbag on a car thats equipped with one.

Fair enough but if it will keep my car in one place I think it would be worth it to keep the car around imo... I dont think I could bring myself to spend 800 dollars on such an obserd modification.

I was just posting for your viewing pleasure bitches keep your opinions to yourself. LOL

second off... any of those clubs, autolocks, brake locks... all of that **** is bypassable. I know a repo man who told me how to get past all of that **** to take a car, and anyone that works at a tow lot will tell you the same if you ask them nicely since they repo **** on the side as well.

I dont feel safe using conventional methods of protecting my car since they are useless and thieves will steal your **** regardless. Eventually someone is going to copy this **** and release it for half of its current cost.

Ever watch Gone in 60 Seconds? Taking the wheel off, someone could bring a like...adjustable wheel and put it on or somethin, so this aint foolproof either.

Do you believe everything you see in movies? If you do, I feel sorry for you.

As you can see, there is a lock on top of the hub where you CAN'T install another steering wheel. The actual steering wheel needs to mate with the hub so you can stear. Where are you going to mount the steering wheel? On your head? If the hub was open, THEN you can bring a similar steering wheel and drive away. Unless that cap on the hub is ripped off, it seems like a good way to save your car from being driven away.

also the bearings on the nrg quick release are smaller than the rap fix locks so the lock will not mate correctly to the nrg hub in case anyone had any bright money saving ideas.
