Default how to install heat wrap properly?

I just bought Thermotec heat wrap for my DC 4-1 headers yesterday and wanting to know how to install it properly. i know you need straps to secure it. Also, i got Thermo Tec Heavy-Duty Spray Adhesive. Do you put the heat wrap on your header and then spray on the adhesive or spray it on or spray it on before you put it on your header and strap it down?

If anyone has put heat wrap on their car before any suggestions would help. Thanks

just wrap it on and then use hose clamps or buy the metal things they sell for header wrap and then spray it once its wrapped. Soak that **** good then your good to go.

Also make sure you have a good overlap. Meaning if the wrap it let say 2" wide make sure each time around you have at least .5" of overlap.
