How to install a genuine Mugen Wing on a Del Sol ?
Hi !
Due to some people have a genuine mugen wing in this forum I wanted to ask if you can give me a brief installation guide how to install it on my Del Sol.
Or are there also installations manuels from Mugen somwhere to find?
Bought one some weeks ago and I want to put it on my car next week.

by the looks of that picture
that wing does not have the screws to that bracket
hard to tell if it has a bracket or not
there is NO drilling needed when u install a mugen wing
the brackets fit b/t the trunk lid and the trunk (onced shut)

ok yeah those are the brackets
last time i checked those bracket sit in side that space (first pic u posted)
its held inside there by sticky double side tape
and once there on there u just open ur trunk place the wing on top
and simply place the brackets in the groove of the trunk and
tighthen the allen wrenched bolts tight so the wing wont fly off

You're stuck filling the old holes or getting a trunk without holes. The Mugen trunk spoiler doesn't cover them at all.
Drilling holes for the pedestals is optional. The original Mugen spoiler came with a paper guide to drill holes on the sides of the emblems for self tapping screws, but you would need to go up through the USDM license plate lights with an elbowed rachet to reach them properly.
Below I've included a really bad line drawing of how the clips fit.

The top "C" represents the USDM passenger side, opening out. The top of the bottom backwards "C" goes inside the top "C", and the bottom of the bottom "C" goes under the lip of the trunk lid. You tighten the little allen bolts and the two "C"s will clamp into each other, securing the Mugen spoiler in place.
