hi I ask a used jdm importer shop in my country if they can give me the list of engines imported this month.. this shop import over 300 engines monthly (trucks, taxis, and everything they found in japan) in the list appear a b18c engine so I went to the shop and it was a red head b18c in the block says b18c-Number...but Im not really sure if it is a dc2 engine, they only say me its a race engine they dont know anything about type r, dc2, ek9 or any sports cars.
I was thinking that maybe is just a gsr engine with a red painted head, or maybe is a true race engine with aftermarket cams etc..the price its very low compared to US prices but they sell jdm stuff ver very cheap

how can I identify if its a dc2 engine and if it has aftermarket cams
