Re: how to identify good fogs
I have had a set from ebay... worst decision of my life. Blew the relay, then the bulbs burnt out... within 2-3 weeks of having them. I got tired of dealing with the BS on the daily driver, so I just took them back off and threw them away.

Re: how to identify good fogs
I bought some from wal mart for $15 bux and used they every night for a year and I took them off my probe and they were going onto my Civic and my lazy *** never put them on and so a year later i lost the other one in a move so i was stuck with 1 dam fog lamp and I got kinda creative one day and custom fabbed it to fit and work for my dome light! Everyone tripped out how bright is will get in my car lol.
Mine had a grey casing and the glass where the light shines outa was blue. and it got so hot I'm surprised it don't break the glass lol.

Re: how to identify good fogs
yeah, but if I am buying a NEW set of fog lights, I dont think the relays and bulbs should be blowing in less than a month. Just sh!tty quality, which is why if I get a set for the nice car, they will be OEM Stanley.
I am just kinda over the look though.

bought ebay ones. the wiring on the were diffrent from the oems. the harness blew so i cut the wires, ran directly to the battery and toggle switch on the dash. i've been using them every night for 7+ months now and it seems to be working for me. only bad is i the glass casing has a small crack in one of them due to smashin on the freeway everyday to work haha
