!!HOW-TO!! HX wheels on GSR or SI Front Brakes!
Here is a Little TECH for the Idiots that Still argue with me about fitting HX wheels on GSR or (99-00) SI Front Brakes.
Reasons why someone would put HX wheels on there car?
1. Being they are very light (11lbs)
2. Very Stock and Low-Key looking
3. Cheap ($200-$400 a Set)
4. Yes there are good tires to be had in 14" size (avs, azeines, Ao32r, etc..)
For the haters (yes its a real SI)
First, Take the SI or what ever Wheel you have Off the car and prepare to Install the HX wheels
Once you have done that, Get a Grinder (Dremal works just takes little longer) And make sure you wear eye protection!
Now Grind about ~1/16th-1/8th off of that Hanger thats on the caliper!
That should be the only spot you should have to grind, And it will take about 3-5 minutes per a wheel.

LOL... I was thinking the samething . Good write up. Take a picture of the finished product so we can see how much space the rotor takes up in the wheel well of the 14" HX rim.

That's what i was talking about in the earlier thread. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=554743
Too my understanding the 92-95 Si's did not have these, but the EX models did...
BTW: Sexy pics...

Damn, you'z a sexy bitch. I bet the men love you.
As for the wheels, very good. I've been considering getting a set, but I've been wondering about the brake clearance. I might end up getting a set after all.

Dont be Jealous, I am an Abercrombie@Fitch Model
I will Snap some pics In the Day time of finished Product, But there is not any Issues I would worry about, This is the 4th car I have personally done this to within Year, and No Probs What so Ever!

Shaving the calipers (10 minute Job) is not only cheaper then Washers, But will allow you to Retain Factory Wheel Offset!
Here is a Pic of the Space between the Wheel and Caliper

Once you have done that, Get a Grinder (Dremal works just takes little longer) And make sure you wear eye protection! Other than that, it's okay to leave your body bare and naked.

Its the internet, lol. You think thats bad, I had a moron call me today arguing about a '00 GSR Oil pump is way different than the ITR oil pump, even thought its the same part number but he argrees that I'm wrong.
Maybe I should do the same, lol.

I have 1" spacers for my hx wheels. I actually got them for my old 16x7.5" rims that were rubbing, but they got stoleded!
