How high does a B16 gauge cluster read in RPM's?
I know that this may seem like a weird question, but I need to know this since I have an H22. The current gauges that I have in my car now are for the del Sol with a D16, however, those gauges will only read up to 8500 RPM. That's fine for the time being, but in the next couple of weeks, I am doing a major NA build on my H22 and I should be able to rev a bit higher than 8500 RPM.
I don't want to buy one of those huge ricer tachs, and I was thinking that I could just replace my current gauge cluster with that of a B16 del Sol since it might read up to higher RPM's, but I'm not sure. So if anyone could tell me how high the RPM numbers go on a B16 gauge cluster tach, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

a 8000 RPM tach would do just fine. just have a shift light setup for 8300 RPM's by the time you react itll be around 8500. plus honda tach's are off any ways
