how hard would this be to fix?
some ******s broke into my car the other night and pried the handle off with a screwdriver... if i put the key in it just spins back and forth so i'm assuming thats broken.
the handle also just flaps back and forth. i'm assuming i'd have to take off the door panel on the inside, and get a new door handle, and hook those bar things up to it? (i replaced the inside door handle on a 91 integra...)

Hook your battery up to your alarm and/or switch and to your door handle so it electricutes them next time! That would own! Or get a "Mad Max" alarm! (but then you would be looking at a murder charge)

It shouldn't be hard to fix at all. Remove the door panel (make sure window is up) and take a look inside. Everything will be right there and it is a self explanatory process to remove/replace the parts.
You may have to use some C-clip pliers to actually remove the lock cylinder if it is damaged. I'm not quite sure if you have to go to Honda to have them make you a cylinder that works for your current key.

heh... i guess now ill just put the stock deck in and use my ipod with itrip... nobody would rip off a stock 92 civic tape deck unless they were a moron.
so ill need a new handle...
when i had my integras (a 91, a 90, and a 95) i used acuraautomotiveparts.org and it had nice diagrams with everything, anything like that for civics?

that really sucks man, i keep a large crow bar in my car, if i ever saw someone try to break into my car i would be after them with it.
someone tried to break into my car when i had my 2 12's in it, messed up the window regulator, had to buy a 50 dollar regulator, and this one is bent so the window doesnt shut right.
man i could handle breakin a thiefs leg
i dont think that handle should be too hard to fix, but the lock may be something more expensive to replace, dealer would have to do that im sure
