HOW HARD IS IT TO GO FROM SOHC 2 SOHC (D15Z1-D16Z6)??
HOW HARD IS IT TO SWAP FROM A D15Z1 TO A D16Z6??? FOR AN EG HATCH.....???THE CAR NOW HAS BAD CV JOINTS..AND ITS IDELING INCORRECTLY...THE D16Z6 HAS GOOD AXLES AND I BOUGHT 2 BLOCKS AND 2 HEADS WITH ONE TRANNY,WIRRING HARNESS AND EVERYTHING NEEDED...THE MOTOR CAME FROM MY COUSINS CRX....I BOUGHT EVERYTHING FOR $200.00.......BUT THE ENGINE IN THE CRX THE D16Z6 WONT GO PASS 2,000 RPM...COULD IT BE THE DISTRIBUTOR? OR THE ECU? I HURD I CAN USE THE SAME DISTRIBUTOR FROM THE D15Z1...IS THIS AN EASY PROJECT?IF NOT HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST??ABOUT///
THANKS...

please stop yelling!!!!!! the swap isn't too hard. as far as a wiring harness goes it's different from the crx to a 92-95 civic wich is what a d15z1 and d16z6 come in. the worst part will be switching around the o2 sensor wiring. other than that everything else will bolt up. good luck. oh yeah the z1 distributor will work but only 2 holes will line up. the top hole will be off by just a little bit.
