anyone who is decent with tools and is smart enough to comprehend instructions should be able to change a clutch. it might take awhile for the first time, but thats how you learn

The way your talking it would take you days. I could get one done in about 3 hours. If you gonna do it, then find a manual and take it SLOW. When you go to install the trans. back in, be sure to get it lined up otherwise you could tweak the pressure plate and clutch disc, and then you have problems.

Seems like I will be your first time, but basically if you have enough common sense to know a lil about what you are doing then its not hard. Just take your time the first time and to make it alot easier make sure you have the clutch guide (key) to make sure the clutch is lined up.

I can get someone over here that will change it for you for fee of around $50-100.
I would do it for $50 but since I don't have my own garage yet I really can't.
It would take us around an hour or two.

I live half an hour from chicago.

I've never done it on my civic and there are so many ways to screw it up. If you can get someone to show you then go for it. Otherwise don't try.

First clutch I did on a 626 went out in 3 months. Didn't relaize I needed to resurface the flywheel.
