Default How to get hood off of an eg?

My friend rearended a tow hook and it smashed the part with the latch on the hood in. The cable for the latch was also snapped, how do you take the hood off if you cant open it? It's time for and oil change and a new battery because im sick of bump starting him in intersections.

Without going out and climbing under one of the EG's in the garage, from memory I would say remove the lower splash gaurd and take the 3 bolts for the latch out from underneath. I "believe" it can be done this way but don't hold me to it. I can't be sure at the moment.

It's probably hard to do it this way, but it can be done.

damn near imposible to do it that way and I got skinny *** arms (6'5" 140lbs).
I went with the other, shall I say more sinester route muahahahh! I used a poor mans sawsall aka the dremel with about a thousand cut off wheels and a crow bar. It looks like a grenade exploded where the hood was. Oh well I got his mugen 4-2-1 and tsudo cat back for free.
